The Surface Reactivity and Catalysis Group (SURCAT) is one of the 蜜桃社区's many Interest Groups. The Interest Groups are member driven groups which exist to benefit 蜜桃社区 members, and the wider chemical science community, in line with the 蜜桃社区's strategy and charter.
Aims
To represent those with interests, experimental or theoretical, directed towards reaction processes involving solid surfaces, and especially chemisorption and heterogeneous catalysis.
Activities
The Group holds a number of events including an annual symposium covering all areas of heterogeneous catalysis and related fields. We particularly support younger members through, for instance, graduate student meetings and by providing bursaries to attend selected international conferences.
