CEO, Bogan Developments

A former student-athlete at 蜜桃社区, Jamauri Bogan won numerous awards for his community service as a student. At the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, he received the Humanitarian Award in 2019, and the same year Fox Sports Detroit ran a story about his financial literacy and leadership class at Loy Norrix High School.

While pursuing both football and an MBA, Bogan envisioned the creation of a real estate company. In 2018, he co-founded Nekton Investments, where he honed his skills in decision-making, capital raising and relationship-building within the real estate industry. Bogan consistently delivered substantial returns to investors, showcasing his expertise.

In 2020, he founded Bogan Developments, a real estate development company with a strong focus on addressing the needs of moderate to low-income communities through mixed-income developments. In 2023, Bogan Developments embarked on a groundbreaking $4.5 million new construction project, featuring an early learning center in partnership with the YMCA and workforce housing.

Bogan is also a partner in Edison Community Partners, a minority-owned development company specializing in affordable family and senior housing, leveraging the low-income housing tax credit program. With over $90 million in development projects in the pipeline, he continues to make significant contributions to community development.

Bogan鈥檚 commitment to community extends beyond his professional endeavors. He actively serves on the boards of Community Homeworks, the Big Brothers Big Sisters Junior Leadership Committee and the 蜜桃社区 Michigan University Real Estate Committee. In recognition of his remarkable achievements and contributions, he was awarded the inaugural Chamber鈥檚 Choice Alumnus of the Year Award in 2022.
