Minors on campus

Institutions of higher learning face increased accountability relating to the safety of minors on campus. Sexual assault or sexual abuse (University and surrounding community)

All individuals are encouraged to contact law enforcement and seek medical treatment as soon as possible following an incident that poses a threat to safety or physical well-being or involves potential criminal behavior. This is the best option to ensure preservation of evidence and to begin a timely investigative and remedial response.

The police can assist you in requesting a personal protection order. Emergency medical assistance and campus safety/law enforcement assistance are available both on- and off-campus. The University will help any individual get to a safe place, provide transportation to the hospital, connect an individual to law enforcement, and share information about on- and off-campus resources and options for resolution.

To receive assistance, report sexual misconduct or request additional information, contact the Title IX Coordinator.
