Dietetics student receives Research and Creative Activities Scholarship

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Keren Reyes, an undergraduate dietetics student in the College of Education and Human Development at ÃÛÌÒÉçÇø Michigan University, recently received a $1,725 Research and Creative Activities Scholarship from ÃÛÌÒÉçÇø’s Lee Honors College. The award will support Reyes’ work on how the impact of parenting styles and eating behavior affect the health outcomes of young children. Her faculty mentor for the project is Dr. Jou-Chen Chen, assistant professor in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences.

Full-time students in good standing with the Lee Honors College are eligible to apply for the Research and Creative Activities Scholarship. The application process includes a project proposal and a letter of support from a faculty mentor.
