Grant Seeking Toolkit

The Graduate Center for Research and Retention, Graduate College and the Office of the Vice President for Research are currently collaborating on a special Tool Kit to enhance graduate students’ awareness of special grant opportunities to assist them in conducting research. Dr. John Risley, Research Officer with OVPR, and Dr. Marianne Di Pierro, Director, Graduate Center for Research and Retention, have planned the following funding modules:

  1. Professional organization funding opportunities for graduate students, by discipline. This document provides links to funding opportunities (grants, fellowships, scholarships, awards) offered by professional organizations aligned with respective ÃÛÌÒÉçÇø graduate programs. Links are live and will be updated at a minimum of twice per year.
  2. Search engines for graduate student grant seekers This document provides tips for using two popular search engines (PIVOT and SCIVAL) to help students identify funding opportunities.
  3. Federal and foundation funding opportunities for graduate students This document will provide links to funding opportunities (grants, fellowships, scholarships, awards) offered by federal agencies, foundations, and other organizations as those relate to graduate programs. These links will be updated at a minimum of twice per year.
