Bio:

Dr. Tiffany Lee is a Professor and Director of 蜜桃社区 Michigan University's specialty program in alcohol and drug abuse. She has experience as an addictions counselor, circuit court advocate, and child protective investigator. Her research interests include addiction training in counselor education and diversity issues in treatment. From 2015-2018, Dr. Lee was the project director and the principal investigator of a $526,193 U.S. Department of Health and Human Services grant project entitled SBIRT Training for Students and Community Organizations in the Health Professions in West Michigan. This grant was funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and involved a three-year research study related to screening, brief intervention and referral to treatment (SBIRT). From 2019-2022, Dr. Lee was a trainer for the Michigan Youth Prevention and Recovery for Opioid Use Disorders (MY-PROUD) grant program, a $1.35 million grant funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). She provided education to students and professionals in the state of Michigan on the SBIRT protocol. Dr. Lee is also the author of  (2nd ed.). From 2016 to 2022, Dr. Lee served on the Health Professional Recovery Committee (HPRC) for the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). She was appointed Vice-Chair of the HPRC (2018-2020) and Chair of Clinical and Policy Subcommittee (2017-2022), which worked with the Attorney General's office to update the policy manual during that time.
