General summary
Provides analyses and reports to support planning and assessment of University programs and services.
Major duties
- Coordinates responses to external agencies or organizations requesting University data including federally mandated surveys and industry groups.
- Prepares reports and analyses, selecting data sets, programming methods, and report formats to meet the needs of departments, colleges, or divisions
- Maintains department records and files of all reports and analyses prepared and distributed by the department. Gathers and validates data; creates and maintains research files, records, and information related to the institutional research function.
- Tracks, produces, and manages the official repository of programs offered by the University. Reviews all curriculum changes to ensure federal and state standards are followed.
- Maintains and updates department webpages using content management system technologies to meet and exceed established web content and accessibility standards.
- Trains new faculty in the faculty activity reporting system and acts as the primary contact for technical assistance during the annual submission window.
- Leads or participates in teams and special projects to support administrative initiatives that improve the efficiency and operations of the office and the University.
Minimum qualifications

Required education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Three years’ relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoor or any number of elements.
