General summary
Responsible for performing duties that assure a quality campus visit experience. Strategically develops and aligns the campus visit experience with the University brand and enrollment goals.
Major duties
- Oversees communication to campus visit guests, including scheduling visits, pre- and post-visit communication and problem solving with guests as needed to provide best possible visit experience.
- Plans and executes admission campus visit activities including programming, scheduling, logistics, staffing, pre-visit and post-visit communications.
- Manges the campus visit section of the customer relationship management system. Continuously improves and refines visit scheduling and communication process.
- Manages a recruitment territory. Serves as the primary University liaison for students, families, and high school counselors from that geographic area. Makes admission decisions and advocates for students. Builds and maintains relationships with college counseling colleagues within that territory.
- Collaborates with department leadership to propose, develop, and enhance the campus visit experience for prospective undergraduate students. Develop communication plans to drive event attendance and encourage funnel conversion amongst invites and attendees.
- Coordinates group visits for secondary school districts and community organizations.
- Collaborates with academic colleges and other University departments, including athletics, student services and parking services.
- Assists at on-campus recruitment events.
- Performs payroll and budget related functions.
- Hires, trains, evaluates and supervises student employees.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Two years' relevant experience.
- Understanding of college admissions.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with students, co-workers, and the general public.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of students, parents and community members.
Required other
- Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state. Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.

- Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Desired experience
- Three years' relevant experience.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
