General summary
Directs strategic initiatives including regional location planning, corporate engagement and partnerships, and identification and development of potential revenue streams.
Major duties
- Establishes and maintains strategic partnerships with corporate and community partners.
- Develops and promotes community and corporate relations opportunities with other University departments. Develops and maintains proposals for community partners and University departments.
- Connects University programs, services, research, advancement, community relations, and other major initiatives with corporate, non-profit, government and educational stakeholders.
- Builds relationships with donors and coordinates strategies and personal visits for the involvement of institutional partners.
- Promotes professional development and customize program opportunities to corporate and community partners.
- Engages alumni and other University stakeholders to inform strategic planning processes.
- Identifies opportunities to develop and grow new revenue streams by programs, services, and research through strategic partnerships.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Eight years' relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and lead high-level initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Required other
- Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds. 
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
