General summary
Manages the daily operations of Children鈥檚 Trauma Assessment Center and provides clinical oversight at a regional site in northern Michigan.
Major duties
- Supervises and participates in the assessment process. Oversees written clinical reports generated by clinical staff.
- Coordinates daily operations of the center, including oversight of referral, screening and intake process, assessment and intervention policies and protocols.
- Coordinates with trans-disciplinary team supervisors to enhance team effectiveness.
- Participates in workgroups for new grant initiatives.
- Trains, evaluates and supervises staff during on-site visits at Northern Michigan鈥檚 Children鈥檚 Trauma Assessment Center.
- Provides professional consultation to client families and professionals working with clients. Generates clinical reports for each clinical assessment.
Minimum qualifications

Required education
- Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Three years' relevant experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience in trauma assessment and treatment.
- Experience working with trans-disciplinary clinical team.
Required other
- Licensure as a Master-level Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of Michigan.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
