Study Rooms
Our study rooms are available to all current 蜜桃社区 Michigan University students. Whether you need a quiet room to study on your own or a room to meet with a group, we have spaces to fit your needs.
Group study rooms (2-10 people)
We have seven group study rooms at Waldo Library for groups of two or more. These study rooms can be reserved online for up to 4 hours, 14 days in advance, or in person at the service desk in the first-floor lobby. Group room keys should be checked out at the service desk. A valid Bronco Card must be presented to access these study rooms.
Additional time may be given if there are no other scheduled reservations. Requests for additional time may be made 30 minutes before the end of a reservation.
All group study rooms feature tables, chairs and whiteboards. Ask for markers for the whiteboards at the service desk. Some rooms have large monitors or projectors you can use with your laptop. Cables and adapters are available in the rooms or for checkout.

- Your group study room may be reassigned if you are more than 15 minutes late for your reserved time.
- All keys must be returned no less than 1 hour before the library closes. You will be charged a $42 fee if you lose the room key.
- You are responsible for reimbursing the Libraries for any damage occurring during your time in the room.
- Noise levels must be low enough so that other library patrons, including those in other group study rooms, are not disturbed.
- No items may be put on or in front of the windows of the group study rooms.
- You must comply with all public address announcements while in a group study room.
- Do not leave any material(s) in the group study rooms.
Individual study rooms (1 person)
When you need a quiet place to study, we have 23 individual study rooms at Waldo Library that you can use. These study rooms can be reserved online for up to 4 hours, 14 days in advance, or in person at the service desk in the first-floor lobby. Individual room keys should be checked out at the service desk. A valid Bronco Card must be presented to access these study rooms.
Additional time may be given if there are no other scheduled reservations. Requests for additional time may be made 30 minutes before the end of a reservation.
All individual study rooms are equipped with a desk, chair and whiteboard. The walls between the study rooms and the hallway are open at the top. Please be aware that sound travels and people in nearby spaces may be able to hear you.

Web conference rooms (1-4 people)
We have six web conference rooms at Waldo Library available for online interviews, online or hybrid classes, or small group (up to 4 people) meetings. These conference rooms can be reserved online for up to 4 hours, 14 days in advance, or in person at the service desk in the first-floor lobby. Conference room keys should be checked out at the service desk. A valid Bronco Card must be presented to access these conference rooms.
Additional time can be given if there are no other scheduled reservations. Requests for additional time may be made 30 minutes before the end of a reservation.
All web conference rooms are equipped with a monitor, webcam, whiteboard, table and four chairs. Technical support may be limited after 5 p.m. on weekdays and during all weekend hours.

Open study rooms
We have three study rooms at Swain Library open to all students enrolled at 蜜桃社区 and four for graduate students in the Graduate Student Commons at Waldo Library. These open study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis only during library hours. These rooms cannot be reserved ahead of time.

- You must comply with the University Libraries Personal Conduct Policy while in an open study room or other library space.
- Noise levels must be low enough so that other library patrons, including those in other study rooms, are not disturbed.
- No items may be put on or in front of the windows of the open study rooms.
- You must comply with all public address announcements while in an open study room.
- Do not leave any material(s) or personal items in an open study room unattended. Open study rooms can not be locked and University Libraries is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
- You must vacate the room when the library closes for the day.
