Higher education leadership alum named president of Dominican Association of Universities
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擜 蜜桃社区 Michigan University alum will be sworn in on Wednesday, Dec. 6 as president of the Dominican Association of Universities. Dr. Wady 搁补尘铆谤别锄, a graduate of the College of Education and Human Development's higher education leadership program, will serve for a three-year period to develop and promote higher education in the Dominican Republic.
The Dominican Association of Universities brings together 35 universities in the country to contribute to the improvement of higher education services. The association hopes the collaboration guarantees high quality standards both nationally and internationally for its member universities.
"Dominican universities will be working tirelessly in the discussion of public policies related to education, research, innovation and sustainable development," says 搁补尘铆谤别锄.
With the new appointment, 搁补尘铆谤别锄 will continue serving as the president of the , a position he has held since 2016. Located in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic's capital city, the university offers programs in various fields such as medicine, law and computational systems.
