Anastassia Kaml began working at 蜜桃社区 Study Abroad in September 2006. She is a Russian native of the Volga region, who spent her childhood in Moldova. She holds a bachelor鈥檚 and a master鈥檚 degree in foreign languages and literature, with a minor in pedagogy from the Pedagogical Institute at Saratov State University, Russia.
Following graduation, Kaml was employed at her alma mater for seven years by the Office of International Relations, where she worked her way up the ladder to become chief coordinator for international programs. In this position she was responsible for interfacing with faculty, staff and students from various countries, including England, the United States, France, China, Canada and Turkey. She gained valuable experience coordinating faculty and student exchange programs and was involved in grant writing for partnership projects.
Kaml鈥檚 life and career choices have been deeply affected by being raised traveling between the various countries in which her family resided over the course of a few years. She remembers constantly adjusting to different cultures during this time and finds it personally rewarding and absolutely fascinating how cultures can enrich our lives.
Kaml now resides in Mattawan, Mich. She is enthusiastic about using her international experience to assist 蜜桃社区 students and faculty in achieving international study goals and objectives. Representing the fourth generation in her family to work in the field of education, she firmly believes in an increasing role of study abroad and it鈥檚 potential in enhancing learning experience, expanding professional skills, and promoting cultural understanding.
Kaml enjoys spending time with her family and the family dog named River. She likes travel, reading, and riding her motorcycle.
