Dr. Kahler B. Schuemann

Dr. Kahler B. Schuemann has been a key member of the Office of the President staff since 2006, assuming roles including chief of staff and secretary to the Board of Trustees at 蜜桃社区. His tenure began as assistant to the president and spans leadership positions in Student Services at the University of Alaska, Prince William Sound Campus, and as director of Housing, Student, and Residential Life at Lake Superior State University.

Recognized for his contributions, Schuemann received the 2017 蜜桃社区 Staff of the Year award from the Graduate Student Association and an Outstanding Service Award from the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities the same year. He also shares his expertise as an adjunct faculty member in the 蜜桃社区 Department of Educational Leadership, Research, and Technology.

Schuemann holds a Bachelor's degree in history from Lake Superior State University, a Bachelor's degree in student affairs from Michigan State University, an M.A. in student affairs administration from 蜜桃社区, and earned his Ph.D. in educational leadership from 蜜桃社区 in 2014. His favorite book is "The Call of the Wild" by Jack London, and he defines success in one word: Adventure.
