Pediatric Clinic
The Pediatric Clinic at 蜜桃社区 Michigan University is a community enrichment program where student occupational therapists serve children and their families to support activities of daily living, play and education. Student clinicians are supervised by a licensed occupational therapist.
The focus of the Pediatric Clinic is to provide OT student facilitated evaluation and intervention from a holistic perspective. Some examples of clinics focus include increasing independence in self-care tasks like eating or dressing; increasing the ability to play with age appropriate socialization skills; learning to write more legibly; and learning strategies to stay calm and focused for engagement in the daily routine.
Services are delivered one-on-one with a student occupational therapist.
