Higher Education Emergency Relief Funding
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act was passed by Congress on March 7, 2020. This bill allotted funds to provide fast and direct economic aid to the American people negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds were allocated to the Office of Postsecondary Education as the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF). Because of HEERF, 蜜桃社区 Michigan University has been able to financially assist students through these grant funds.
