Research
The 蜜桃社区 Michigan University Center for the Humanities is actively engaged in promoting research efforts on our campus, such as working on grant projects and providing funding for research groups.
Interdisciplinary humanities groups
As a gathering place for intellectual dialogue and exchange, and with the goal of bringing together graduate students and faculty from across programs and disciplines, the Center for the Humanities invites proposals for interdisciplinary humanities groups.
A research group is a way to approach challenging and important topics in the humanities and develop theoretical interest and research in new areas with the support of a knowledgeable, diverse group of colleagues. It also provides an opportunity to move across disciplinary boundaries in academic life and to meet scholars with similar interests around campus.
The Center for the Humanities will support a semester of work by interdisciplinary groups, providing space for meetings, help with organization and advertising, and a small hosting fund (e.g., for refreshments).
