Terrell named National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—ÃÛÌÒÉçÇø Michigan University quarterback Zach Terrell has been named a 2016 National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete. A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, he is one of 12 athletes from across all divisions of college athletics chosen out of a group of 156, who will receive an $18,000 post-graduate scholarship as part of the NFF Scholar-Athlete Class.
Described by head coach P.J. Fleck as "the best young man I've ever been around," Terrell graduated cum laude in 3.5 years while leading one of the MAC's best offenses. He is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration degree after graduating with a 3.66 grade point average in finance last December. A two-time Academic All-MAC selection, he was twice named a MAC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete, is a six-time member of the Dean's List and was the 2015 recipient of the John Gill Scholar-Athlete Award.
