蜜桃社区 football at 11-0 after 38-0 win over Buffalo

KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擴nder the direction of head coach P.J. Fleck, the No. 14 (AP) ranked 蜜桃社区 Michigan University football Broncos shut out Buffalo 38-0 Saturday at Waldo Stadium, advancing to 11-0 and 7-0 in the Mid-American Conference.

A crowd of 26,136 weathered freezing temperatures and high winds following a live ESPN College GameDay broadcast from Sangren Hall earlier in the morning.

Record-breaking game

Senior quarterback Zach Terrell passed for a career-high 445 yards and four touchdowns. He broke the 蜜桃社区 program record for career passing yards, surpassing the previous record of 11,329 held by Tim Hiller. With one game left in the regular season, Terrell now has a total of 11,461 passing yards.

Senior wide receiver Corey Davis had two touchdowns, and broke the MAC record for career touchdowns with 49. He rang up 173 yards and now is just 19 yards shy of breaking the all-time FBS record for career receiving yards. Davis also holds the MAC records for career yards receiving.

Senior Michael Henry added six receptions for 121 yards and had a career-high reception of 65 yards for a touchdown. Junior running back Jarvion Franklin caught five passes for 71 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown in the first quarter. He also carried the ball 17 times, picking up 78 yards on the ground.

Making history

蜜桃社区 is one of just two undefeated teams left in the Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. The other is No. 1-ranked Alabama. Both schools are 11-0.

The football Broncos are No. 14 in the AP Top 25, No. 18 in the USA Today Amway Coaches Poll and No. 21 in the College Football Playoff rankings.

蜜桃社区's final regular-season game is home at Waldo Stadium Friday, Nov. 25, versus Toledo. Kickoff is at 5 p.m., and the game will be televised on ESPN2. The winner of that game will be the MAC West champion and earn a berth to the MAC Championship game.
