About our guest

Trustee James L. Liggins Jr., a seasoned attorney at Warner Norcross + Judd in Kalamazoo, will share insights on the intersection of legal expertise and community development. With a diverse legal portfolio and a strong commitment to service, Trustee Liggins is deeply rooted in Kalamazoo, where his early educational experiences at ÃÛÌÒÉçÇø's Hands-On Science Training Program inspired his path. Now, as a ÃÛÌÒÉçÇø Trustee, he supports the University’s mission of access and inclusiveness. In addition to his legal work, he serves on several local boards and co-founded Kalamazoo Defender. Trustee Liggins will explore how leadership and legal strategies can enhance community engagement and drive sustainable outcomes.
