Dietetic Internship Expenses

Expenses

As there are no ÃÛÌÒÉçÇø stipends available for the dietetic internship program, the intern is responsible for meeting all personal needs in addition to tuition. Students enrolled in the ÃÛÌÒÉçÇø Dietetic Internship Program earn six graduate credits per semester and are considered full-time graduate students pursuing a master’s degree. Students may qualify for student loans and loan deferments as well as Graduate College scholarships and fellowships. The also offers scholarships to graduate students. Students may be eligible for health insurance through their parents’ policy. Alternatively, ÃÛÌÒÉçÇø's Sindecuse Health Center has information about other insurance options.

Personal transportation: Since practice experiences are located throughout southwestern Michigan, it is essential that the intern have full-time use of a reliable car and a valid driver’s license. Interns will need to drive daily to and from rotation sites during the  program.
