STUDY SUPPORTS

Study rooms
Waldo Library and Swain Education Library, both on main campus, have study rooms which can be reserved online. The Study Hub on the first floor of the College of Health and Human Services includes two small study and exam rooms that accommodate up to six people. The rooms include a TV/DVD/video monitor and a computer.

The full list of Study Hub resources is available on their website including printed books, computers and printers (some with low-vision accessibility software), study rooms, materials on reserve for specific courses, cameras and TV monitors, and more.

Off-Campus library access
The 蜜桃社区 Libraries has millions of books, journal articles, videos, and more online. Most are accessible through the Library Search platform (just search for a topic or title and then select 鈥渇ull text online鈥) or through subject-specific databases (select a subject area from the drop-down menu at the top). If 蜜桃社区 Libraries doesn鈥檛 have access to an item, whether in print or online, you can request a copy from another library through Interlibrary Loan. This typically takes 1-2 days for electronic items, and usually about 1-2 weeks for print items. The Libraries subscribes to several e-book platforms which allow you to read, and in some cases download, books online (in PDF and other online formats). You can search by title, author, or keyword using the Library Search platform. Just be sure to limit your search to 鈥淏ooks and Media鈥 and then to 鈥淔ull Text Online.鈥 There is not a branch of 蜜桃社区 Libraries in Grand Rapids, but students who are not based in Kalamazoo may register for Book Delivery and have books delivered to your home address.
